The best battle belts for airsoft have had quite a bit of exposure, both offline and online. In fact, there are actually a lot of debate as to what the best battle belt is, with some people saying that it is by far the Desert Eagle Evo pistol belt, and others going back and forth with both sides making good points and valid arguments. To me though, there are only a few types of battle belts out there, and they are airsoft pistols, airsoft shotguns, and spring airsoft rifles. And of course, there are also airsoft swords and airsoft knives, but those are just a handful, and frankly, I am of the opinion that pistols and shotguns are far too “common” to put into a real airsoft gun collection. So then, what is the best battle belt?

Well, you will have to decide that for yourself, but there are a few things that I think you should look for when reviewing top quality tactical belts. For one thing, you should make sure that the tactical belt you are looking at has both high quality pistol clips and shotgun clips. Some belts out there will try to sell you on the idea of having a pistol belt, because hey, why not. However, you will quickly discover that pistols and shotguns are much more fun, both for tactical purposes, and just for fun, and you should really consider going with the type of clips and weapons that you want to have in your belt. If you are really interested in having the best of the best, then you will want to make sure that the quality of the tactical belt that you get is high.
Also, you will want to get a belt that can handle both a Desert Eagle Evo pistol and a Cobra gun belt. It is not uncommon to find many airsoft guns, even of the “realistic” types that can handle these two kinds of ammunition. And while you might think that this defeats the purpose of getting a belt that can handle two different kinds of ammunition, it actually makes the entire belt system a lot stronger, because one gun will not be as heavy as the other, which means that the whole thing can be much sturdier. This is especially true if you buy a belt that has a buckle on it, so that you can use it on an airsoft Tommy gun!
